Stainless steel clamps for hoses and flexible pipes

A hose clamp holds a flexible hose on a fitting and keeps the connection tight. The range includes 304 stainless steel clamps with a 12 mm band, wide-bolt clamps, double-wire clamps and aluminium bolted clamp shells.

Choosing the right clamp

  • Clamping range: the hose diameter must fall within the stated range.
  • Clamp type: a wide-bolt clamp spreads the force better on a flexible hose.
  • Material: stainless steel suits damp environments.

Frequently asked questions: Hose clamps

How do I choose the clamp size?

Measure the outside diameter of the hose once it is fitted on its connector, then choose a clamping range that includes it, preferably towards the middle of the range.

Do I need one or two clamps per connection?

One is often enough for ordinary use. For connections under pressure or vibration, a second clamp strengthens the joint. Follow the instructions of the connected equipment.

How do I avoid damaging the hose?

Place the clamp on the reinforced part, a few millimetres from the end, and tighten gradually. Over-tightening or a clamp that is too narrow can damage the hose.
