A quick cam coupling for liquid transfers

A cam-and-groove (Camlock-type) coupling connects and disconnects without tools thanks to two cam arms that lock the coupler onto the adapter. It equips tanker transfer hoses, loading operations and installations that are connected and disconnected often.

Types A to F, DC and DP

  • Couplers (with arms): types B, C and D.
  • Adapters: types A, E and F.
  • Caps and plugs: DC and DP, protective, one for the coupler and the other for the adapter (see the product page).
  • A coupler connects to an adapter; the end type (threaded or hose shank) determines the letter.

Frequently asked questions: Camlock fittings

How do I match a coupler and an adapter?

A coupler (B, C, D) connects to an adapter (A, E, F) of the same diameter. Then choose the end type according to whether it goes on a hose or on a thread.

Which material should I choose?

These fittings are made of aluminium. Check the compatibility of the transported product with aluminium and the gasket, according to the product page and the manufacturer's instructions.

What are the DC and DP caps for?

They close an unused end to protect it and avoid leaks. One goes on a coupler, the other on an adapter: the product page states which.
