Corrosion-resistant engine-driven pumps

Sea water and many chemicals attack ordinary pumps. These engine-driven pumps are made of corrosion-resistant materials (stainless steel, engineering plastics) for pumping in marine, industrial or farming settings.

Check compatibility with your liquid

Each chemical has its own requirements. Check the compatibility of the body, impeller and seal materials with your liquid on the product page, and ask for advice for a specific product.

Frequently asked questions: Engine-driven pumps for sea water and chemical liquids

Can an ordinary engine-driven pump pump sea water?

It wears out very quickly: salt corrodes ordinary aluminium and steel. Choose a model designed for sea water.

How do I maintain the pump after use?

Rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after each use, then drain it and store it in a dry place. This extends its life considerably.

How do I know whether a chemical is compatible?

Note the exact name and concentration of the product, then compare them with the pump materials. If in doubt, contact us before ordering.
