Wall pass-through fittings for tanks and reservoirs

A wall pass-through fitting connects a pipe through the wall of a tank, bin or reservoir while keeping the joint watertight. It is available in brass, PVC, polyethylene with a steel flange, and 316 stainless steel.

Choosing the material and the connection

How do I fit a wall pass-through?

Drill the wall to the stated diameter, deburr, position the fitting with its seals, then tighten the nuts gradually to compress the seals without deforming the wall.

Do I need to plan for seals?

Yes, tightness relies on the seals placed on each side of the wall. Check their condition and their compatibility with the liquid before assembly.
