What is a flow switch for?

It detects whether water is flowing or not in the pipe. It is used to stop a pump when there is no flow or to signal a fault. Check the pipe diameter and the maximum pressure on the product page.

What does a 4-20 mA signal mean?

It is an analogue current signal that sends the measured value to a controller or a drive. The transmitter must have a pressure range suited to the installation.

Is a flowmeter suitable for all liquids?
