Stainless DIN fittings for process lines

A DIN fitting consists of a threaded male part, a liner, a slotted nut and a gasket, assembled by screwing. It is found on stainless lines in the food industry (liquids, beverages, dairy products) and on fluid transfer installations.

Parts in the range

Frequently asked questions: DIN fittings

How do I assemble a DIN fitting?

Weld the male part and the liner onto the tubes, place the gasket between the two faces, then tighten the nut. Make sure the gasket is well centred before tightening.

What is the difference from a Clamp fitting?

The DIN fitting is screwed with a nut, whereas the Clamp fitting is tightened with a clamp. The choice depends on the standards already present on your installation.

Which grade of stainless steel should I choose?

304 and 316 grades are common; 316 is more resistant in many environments. Check compatibility with your fluid on the product page.
