Two pumps to make lifting more reliable

A two-pump lifting station combines a tank and two pumps to move wastewater or dirty water to a drain located higher up. It suits apartment buildings, commercial premises and sites where a lifting failure is not acceptable.

What the double equipment brings

  • Backup: if one pump fails, the other takes over.
  • Alternation of the pumps to share wear.
  • Increased flow possible when a lot of water arrives, depending on the model.

Frequently asked questions: Two-pump lifting stations

When should I choose a two-pump station rather than a single one?

When a lifting stoppage would cause significant problems (backflow, interrupted activity) or when use is intensive. For an occasional need, a single pump may be enough.

Which characteristics should I check before buying?

Check the tank volume, the discharge diameter, the lifting height, the impeller type and the power supply. These values are given on the product page.

What should I plan for the installation?

Ventilation of the tank, non-return valves, access for maintenance and a level alarm are recommended. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and local regulations.
