Close-coupled centrifugal pump: the standard for clean water

A centrifugal pump turns the rotation of an impeller into flow and pressure. In the close-coupled version, the impeller is mounted directly on the motor shaft, which simplifies installation. The range covers several sizes (DN32 to DN50), in single-phase and three-phase.

Choosing well

Compare the duty point you need (flow and head) with the pump curve, then check the power supply and the liquid. An oversized pump wastes energy; an undersized one does not meet the need.

Frequently asked questions: Centrifugal pumps

Is a centrifugal pump self-priming?

Generally not: the pump body and suction line must be filled before starting. To draw liquid from below, choose a self-priming model instead.

What is the difference between single- and three-phase?

Single-phase 230 V plugs into a domestic supply. Three-phase 400 V needs a suitable supply but is better for higher power ratings.

What are the usual uses?

It is used for circulation, water supply, irrigation, transfer or industrial clean water circuits. For loaded or aggressive liquids, see the other categories.
