Corrosion-resistant engine-driven pumps

Sea water and many chemicals attack ordinary pumps. These engine-driven pumps are made of corrosion-resistant materials (stainless steel, engineering plastics) for pumping in marine, industrial or farming settings.

Can an ordinary engine-driven pump pump sea water?

It wears out very quickly: salt corrodes ordinary aluminium and steel. Choose a model designed for sea water.

How do I maintain the pump after use?

Rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after each use, then drain it and store it in a dry place. This extends its life considerably.

How do I know whether a chemical is compatible?

Note the exact name and concentration of the product, then compare them with the pump materials. If in doubt, contact us before ordering.
