Hoses to transfer diesel, off-road diesel, fuel oil or petrol

This category groups dispensing hoses with threaded fittings, hoses for nozzles, and suction and delivery kits for fuel pumps. The hose must be designed for hydrocarbons: a water hose would not withstand them.

Selection points

  • Fuel: diesel, off-road diesel, petrol... the product page states which one the hose is designed for.
  • Diameter and fitting (for example 3/4 or 1 inch) compatible with the pump and nozzle.
  • Length suited to the distance between tank and vehicle.

Frequently asked questions: Hydrocarbon hoses

Can the same hose be used for diesel and for petrol?

Not always. Each hose is designed for certain fuels: check the product page and follow the manufacturer's instructions, especially for petrol.

Why not use a water hose for a fuel?

A water hose is not designed to resist hydrocarbons, which can damage it. There is a risk of leaks; use a hose designed for fuel.

How do I maintain a fuel dispensing hose?

Regularly check the outside condition and the fittings: cracks, hardening, seepage. Replace the hose at the slightest doubt and store it without kinks.
