Universal float for pump and engine-driven pump

Applications:
- Floods: engine-driven pumps that can be made to float.
- Forest fires: by placing the pump and its float on the surface of swimming pools, lakes, watercourses, etc.
- Lagoons or retention basins: with bottoms made of geotextile membranes, any submersible pumps, aerators and agitators can be installed between two layers of water (without touching the bottom and the membrane) to DEODORISE or EMPTY the SLUDGE accumulated at the bottom.
- Mines, quarries, sand pits: in steep places where the pump can only be installed on the water and to achieve the most complete drawdown possible.
- Polluting slicks: to remove impurities and hydrocarbon slicks.
- Watercourses, ponds, lakes: to draw water.

Construction:
- The hull is made of moulded polyethylene. The thickness of 6 to 7 mm gives the hull excellent resistance to impact and abrasion. This material is inert to the main chemical agents and resists hydrocarbons well. The through-coloured black finish allows the universal float to resist UV perfectly.
- Unsinkability is achieved by internal pressure foaming. This closed-cell foam, of very low density, is rot-proof and insensitive to water.
- Compatible with various pump sizes.
- Wider on all sides at its base for greater static and dynamic stability.
- Reinforced by stiffening omega sections;
- Floats can be stacked on top of each other, thus increasing the buoyancy by n x 100 litres. The shapes of the float on the top and underside make them fit together perfectly. They then simply need to be joined together by connecting bars screwed into inserts.
- Allows floats to be placed side by side under a common platform.

Fixing:
Thanks to the total unsinkability, it is possible to securely fix M8 metal inserts at any point of the float, including below the waterline. From these M8 inserts, all types of fixings can be fitted: special or off-the-shelf fixings, threaded rods, angle brackets, flat bars, lifting rings, metal bars, steel cables, etc.

Accessories:
- Standard: each float is supplied with 8 M8 metal inserts.
- Options: foam insert to double the buoyancy capacity of the float.

3-year warranty against any manufacturing defect. The expected service life of the product is 10 years.
