Accessories to equip an engine-driven pump

To work, an engine-driven pump needs hoses, couplings and suction components. This category gathers flat fire hoses, spiral PVC hoses, strainers, check valves, floats and Guillemin couplings, including half-couplings with or without a lock.

Think of the whole set

  • Suction: a reinforced hose, a strainer and a valve prevent air ingress and debris.
  • Delivery: a hose suited to flow and pressure.
  • Couplings: same standard and same diameter on both sides.

Which hose for the suction side?

Use a reinforced hose, such as spiral PVC, which does not collapse under vacuum. The diameter must match the pump inlet.

What is the strainer for?

It filters out debris before the pump inlet. Combined with a valve, it keeps the line primed when the pump stops.

How do I check coupling compatibility?

Check the standard (Guillemin, barbed, flange) and the diameter of each coupling against the pump and hoses. The product page gives this information.
