An engine-driven pump for loaded water

A loaded-water engine-driven pump passes mud, fine sand and gravel without clogging. It is used to dewater excavations and to pump ditches, ponds and flooded building sites.

Selection criteria

  • Free passage: maximum particle size accepted.
  • Flow rate and discharge height.
  • Coupling diameter and engine type.

Frequently asked questions: Loaded-water engine-driven pumps

What is the difference from a clear-water pump?

It is designed with a larger free passage and parts that resist wear better. A clear-water pump wears out very quickly with sand and mud.

Which free passage should I choose?

Choose it according to the particles in your water: the product page states the maximum size accepted. A margin prevents clogging.

What maintenance is needed after a job?

Rinse the pump with clean water after use, drain the pump body if there is a risk of frost, and check the wear of the impeller and seals regularly.
