Pumps for domestic and industrial waste water

A sewage pump is designed with a large free passage to remove water from toilets, kitchens, showers or pits without clogging. It is used in a tank, a pit or a lift station. Frequently asked questions: Sewage pumps

Can a cellar pump remove waste water?

No: its free passage is too small for solids and it would clog. Choose a sewage pump or a grinder pump.

What is a vortex impeller?

A vortex impeller is set back from the flow: the liquid and the solids go around it. It gives a large free passage and limits clogging.
