Rubber hoses for demanding uses

Rubber offers good mechanical resistance and stays flexible in use. This category includes water delivery hoses, suction and delivery hoses, multipurpose hoses, EPDM hoses, and hoses for chemicals or petrol. Sold cut to length or in coils.

Choose according to the fluid

  • Water: delivery, suction, hot washing water.
  • Food or drinking water: choose an item whose product page states this use.
  • Chemicals or hydrocarbons: the rubber must be compatible with the product, as stated on the product page.

Frequently asked questions: Rubber hoses

How do I know if a rubber hose suits my fluid?

Each material (EPDM, NBR, UPE...) reacts differently depending on the product. Check the product page and, if in doubt about a chemical or a fuel, ask for advice.

What is the difference between cut to length and coils?

Cut to length, you order the exact length you need. In coils, the hose is sold in a fixed length, handy for stock or regular use.

How do I fit couplings on a hose sold by the metre?

Choose couplings matching the hose inner diameter and fix them with suitable clamps or by crimping. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, especially for fluids under pressure.
