A nozzle suited to each fuel

The nozzle ends the dispensing line: it is what controls the filling of the tank. There are automatic nozzles, which stop the flow when the tank is full, and simpler manual nozzles. Some models include a meter.

Selection criteria

  • The fuel: diesel or unleaded petrol, depending on the model.
  • The maximum flow of the pump: the nozzle must be able to handle it.
  • The hose connection: diameter and thread.

Automatic or manual nozzle?

The automatic nozzle stops when the tank is full, which is handy for frequent refuelling. The manual one suits simpler use. See the page of each model.

Can a diesel nozzle be used for petrol?

Not necessarily. Some models are for diesel, others for unleaded petrol. Use the nozzle only for the fuels stated on the product page.

How do I choose the nozzle flow?

Take a nozzle whose maximum flow is at least equal to that of your pump. Models differ by flow range, given on each product page.
