Level gauge for galvanised and stainless steel tank

Gauge sets 1/2 " with handwheel valves, drain tap, fittings with swivel nut, Ø 16 plastic tube

Installation and maintenance:
1. Screw the two taps, top and bottom, onto the special Ø 1/2 " fittings, then screw the assembly onto the tank.
2. Make sure that the two seals are mounted on parallel axes, otherwise you will have a water leak.
3. Cut the Ø 16 pipe (Fig. The pipe must not be longer than the reference, otherwise it obstructs the closing of the upper tap, and must not be shorter than the reference, otherwise, as with the closing of the fitting (5), it causes the gasket (3) to slip and consequently a loss of water.
4. The ends of the tube must be cut perfectly; the cut must not be slanted or irregular.
5. To insert the tube into the level gauge set, remove the plug (7), unscrew the upper tap and slide it down the tube. Place the items: rubber, ring, connection, in the order (3) - (4) - (5) (5) - (4) - (3).
6. Bring the tube into position in the lower part of the tap and tighten the closing fittings (5).
7. Replace the cap (7) by inserting the sealing gasket (8)
8. As the set is used to indicate the level of the air cushion inside the pressure vessel, it is therefore advisable to keep the valves (1) and (2) normally closed and to open them only when needed.
