The electrical equipment for your pumps

Control panels, variable speed drives, pressure switches, motor protection, floats and level detectors, capacitors, cables and solenoid valves: everything that controls and protects a pump.

Selection criteria

  • Power supply: single-phase 230 V or three-phase 400 V.
  • Power or current of the motor, shown on its rating plate.
  • Function: starting, protection, pressure control or level control.

Frequently asked questions: Electrical accessories

How do I choose a control panel?

Choose it according to the power supply (single-phase or three-phase), the power or current of the motor and the number of pumps to control. Panels for two pumps alternate their operation.

What is a pressure switch used for?

It starts and stops the pump according to the pressure of the network: it opens at high pressure and closes at low pressure. Its thresholds are set according to your installation.

Variable speed drive: what is the benefit?

It adjusts the motor speed to the demand: steady pressure, fewer starts, soft start and controlled energy use. Check that it matches the voltage and the power of your motor.

Float or level probe?

A float is simple and cheap for starting and stopping a lift pump. A probe or level controller allows finer settings and protects against dry running.
