Marine pumps are designed to resist seawater corrosion: bronze bodies, treated materials or dedicated EDM models. The range includes standardised, centrifugal and self-priming pumps, as well as a swimming pool filtration pump.
Check that the material suits salt water, the flow and head needed, the priming type and the power supply (230 V or 400 V). Precise values are on the product page.
Salt water corrodes many materials. A marine pump uses a suitable material (bronze or other) to last longer in this environment.
A self-priming pump draws by itself after a first filling, which is handy when the pump sits above the water level. A standard centrifugal is primed by gravity feed or filling.
After use in seawater, rinse with fresh water if possible, check tightness and avoid dry running. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Our team helps you choose the right equipment for your installation: call +33 3 44 25 91 01 Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (French time), or email contact@pompes-h2o.com. Public bodies can pay by administrative order (mandat administratif), with invoicing through Chorus Pro.
