Air-operated diaphragm pump: driven by compressed air

An air-operated double-diaphragm pump is driven by compressed air, with no electric motor. It is offered in polypropylene, aluminium (Ex version), 316L stainless steel or POLY materials to transfer a wide range of liquids, including loaded or aggressive ones depending on the material.

What to check

  • Body and diaphragm material suited to the liquid.
  • Compressed air available on site (pressure and flow).
  • Ex version if the liquid or the area requires it.

Why choose an air-operated pump?

It uses no electricity and the flow is adjusted through the supply air. Depending on the model, it handles loaded or aggressive liquids, see the product page.

Can it run dry?

Double-diaphragm pumps generally tolerate running dry, but it depends on the model. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

What installation should I plan?

Connect it to a clean compressed air supply, with a pressure regulator if needed, and secure it firmly. Check the maximum air pressure on the product page.
