This device monitors the pressure drop (taps opening) and the interruption of flow in the system (taps closing) on which the pump has been fitted. It also performs the important function of dry-run protection by switching off the pump when there is no water, which protects it against damage caused by dry running. The pressure gauge allows the start-up pressure and the system pressure to be monitored. It also checks for any leaks in the system itself.
Specification:
- It automatically controls the starting and stopping of a single-phase electric pump with a maximum power of 2HP.
- It completely replaces the traditional system made up of a pressure switch and a tank.
- Starts the pump when the pressure drops (taps opening) and stops it when the flow in the system is interrupted (taps closing), at the maximum pump pressure.
- Dry-running protection.
- Start-up pressure adjustable during installation.
- Standard 1" M hydraulic connections.
- Installation in any position - vertical or horizontal - following the direction of flow.
- Use Brio 2000 in systems where the water passing through is free of sediment. If this is not the case, a filter must be fitted at the inlet of the device.
