Water meters to track consumption

A water meter measures the volume passing through it. This category offers large-size Woltmann meters (cold or hot water, DN50 to DN200) and sub-meter kits to monitor the consumption of a dwelling, a premises or a use.

Selection points

  • Cold or hot water: each meter is designed for one or the other.

Frequently asked questions: Water meters

Does a sub-meter replace the utility's meter?

No, it is used to allocate or monitor consumption downstream of the main meter. It does not replace the water supplier's meter.

What does a sub-meter kit contain?

It generally combines the meter with fittings, valves, a check valve or a filter depending on the version. The detail is given on each kit's page.

How should a Woltmann meter be installed?

Respect the flow direction and the straight lengths before and after the meter given by the manufacturer, for a reliable measurement.
