Transfer oil in the field

These pumps run on a 12 V or 24 V battery and are designed to move oil where there is no mains socket: truck, machine, mobile workshop or farm. The range includes gear pumps, a screw pump and transfer kits.

Models worth knowing

  • Reversible: the pump can draw and deliver in both directions, handy for draining.
  • Flow control: to meter the transfer.

Frequently asked questions: 12V-24V oil pumps

What is a reversible pump for?

It lets you reverse the direction of the liquid flow: fill or drain with the same pump, without changing the hose connections. It is useful for machine maintenance.

Is a 12-24 V pump suitable for all oils?

Not necessarily. The viscosity of the oil affects the flow and the pump must be suited to it. See the product page for the liquids accepted.

How do I connect a pump to a battery?

Respect the polarity and the cable cross-section given in the instructions, and protect the circuit with a suitable fuse. Do not let the pump run dry beyond the recommended time.
